MISSION STATEMENT.
The Norman Thomas High School Guidance Department supports the mission of Norman Thomas High School by providing opportunities for students, parents and staff.


The Department of Guidance...

  Creates a welcoming environment for people of all cultures,    background and abilities.

  Facilitates academic, emotional, social and career growth in each student.

  Challenges students to use their individual talents, interests and skills to better serve society.

  Recognizes the need for ongoing evaluation of its program in order to improve services to students, parents, staff and the community.

  Inform students and parents of pertinent information pertaining to success and the realization of receiving a High School Regents Diploma.

  Recognizes the need to foster the desire for lifelong learning and to support the development of the skills necessary to succeed in a global society.
